It takes some serious skill to get the data tape out of the base without calling in a few Wookie Warriors. This is an uphill battle for the Rebels, as there’s only one exit from the Research Station, which becomes a brutal chokepoint for most of the match. The Strike version of this map includes the Research Station and the tarmac out front. This is the final destination of the AT-AT, where it blasts open the door. This map is the base at the far end of the Galactic Assault map, which is Research Station 9 itself. The Rebels must steal a data tape and return it to a U-wing. Of course, for new players, this map can be hopelessly weighted toward the First Order. With two highly skilled teams facing off against each other, this can be an incredibly exciting map. If they can pull this off, it becomes a complete reversal, and it’s the First Order who has to fight its way out of the halls. These hallways become Resistance-slaughtering zones for much of the map, unless the Resistance can work as a team and brute force their way into the hanger. This is a tiny little area with just a few narrow halls leading into it. This map takes place on the final phase of Galactic Assault - in the hangar where Gate Control is. The Resistance must infiltrate a hangar and destroy some TIE fighters. If you remember the Scarif expansion for the previous game, this map actually feels a bit like the third phase of the Infiltration game mode, only with one data tape instead of three. The U-wing is where the West Turbo Laser is in the first phase. The data is inside one of the smaller temples, where the Turbo Laser Control Station is from the second phase of GA. This map isn’t actually the Great Temple portion of the Galactic Assault map. The Rebellion must steal a data tape and return it to a U-wing.

I also pointed out that there are some small-scale maps that aren’t just a chunk of a Galactic Assault map.
